Anaheim, CA
Dear Friends,
Gatch and I met over the weekend. He had a stopover here in Anaheim CA and finally, close to 20 years after college we get to meet up again. Gatch,I hope I get a chance to visit you in CT; we won't have to worry about the kids - I'm sure they'll be immersed in their video games. Parge, include me in your prayers, hopefully God will grant me the opportunity I seek somewhere there in the east coast. Best wishes to you and your family,AMDG,edwin.

Old 4D Pic

Pictures that lied dormant in Ray Jarina's hard disk for 5 years, accidentally discovered in the course of a virus scan :-D
Taken during 1st B-day party of Ray's daughter, Kate, five years ago at the Acropolis.
Pepot still had some hair and Yeyet Estrada made his first return appearance here.
As for the kids, they have all grown up since then.

The Honda Robot
Amazing how technology advances.
Asimo, the Honda Robot as he appeared in
the 1st Phil. International Motor Show (Aug. 2007).
Movements are now more fluent and human-like.
Interesting, isn't it?

The Thad goes Badminton
Saturday, June 23, 2007
For the past two years, I have been attending the Licensing Show at the Jacob Javits center in NYC.
This year, after I got my badge, I was waiting for the show to open when I got distracted by the Disney booth outside the exhibition hall(it said Hanna Montana:-) Anyway, I was staring at it for a bit, when someone says...Hoooooy!
Of all places, I bump into our classmate Ito. Evidently, he attends this every year acquiring different licenses for his work.
We caught up on stuff (our classmates, whats keeping us busy or not, and tennis)

Ray's Metro Pics & Balikbayan Distortion
Your pics of the Metro reminded me of the
remarks of my Balikbayan sisters who went
home for my Grandma's funeral last March
after having stayed put in the U.S. for over a
decade.
They said that its impossible for them to drive
a car in Metro Manila as the streets and
thoroughfares appears to have SHRUNK from
the last time they were here.
I find that to be an interesting observation
as even their memories of Manila streets seem to
have been distorted with their prolonged exposure to
wide American freeways and 6-lane suburban roads.
So did you experience the same distortion when you
went back here?

Where it all began
Looking at those AHS pics should make us feel neglected during our time.
That's because I don't even remember the HS having a fresh coat of paint
during our 4-year stay there. :-D
The changes in the quadrangle are courtesy of Class 80.
It's been said that the bad vibes imprinted in that classroom in 1977-1978
(when it was known as 1-D) still reverberates up to this day. Legend
has it that, through the years, students in that classroom inexplicably
have the urge to (1) howl and jump up & down like caged wild monkeys,
(2) blow up toilet bowls with 5-star firecracker and (3) curse the janitor
with "P@#$%a mo, Apollo!!" :-D That's probably why they made it into
a 4A Classroom, the Dorkiest of all Dork Classrooms, to exorcise the beastly
and bestial vibrations left there by 1-D in 1978.
